How do you create your illustrations?

I am a digital illustrator. This means that none of my illustrations are drawn by hand on actual paper. I create my images on a computer screen with software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and certain other applications. My illustrations are also partially made with AI (artificial intelligence).

Are you available for commissioned artwork?

Because it feels best for me to create only what naturally rises up from my heart, I’m not taking on any commissioned illustration projects. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Can I sell products with your artwork on it?

Yes, my artwork in this shop may be used commercially. But please keep in mind that it is not allowed to just re-sell my original digital files. Be creative and create a different end product that you can then sell yourself. Examples of such end products are: mugs, bags, clothing, fabric etc. with my art printed on it, or physical prints of the illustrations I sell (think of physical posters and postcards), or a digital calendar or digital planner in which you use my artwork as decoration. The ideas are endless really!

Do I need specific software to use your digital artwork?

If you want to do more than just printing of the images (think of creating your own card designs, pattern designs, posters etc.) you will need image editing software. I love to use the Adobe software (Photoshop & Illustrator), but if you don't want to spend money on this kind of software, there are plenty of free online options. Just type it into Google search and you will be on your way!

I'm not good with digital images, can I buy your artwork in printed version?

The artwork that you will find in this webshop is only available in a digital format. But I do have a second webshop where I sell some of my artwork as physical art prints and bookmarks. You will find that shop here: www.daphnepopuliers.nl
